THE 160 CLUB

The Pasquotank Republican 160 Club was realized out of a need for the Pasquotank Republican Party. In 2020 and 2021 the Pasquotank Republican Party held multiple fundraisers for Republican candidates and mistakenly raised funds outside of the campaign finance standards set by the NC State Board of Elections. In the early fall of 2022, an audit of the NC State Board of Elections revealed that the County Party was facing a forfeiture of $16,500. The forfeiture would send monies raised by Republicans to a fund in the State of NC.
The Officers and the Executive Committee of the County Party in January 2023 unanimously agreed it best to refund the improperly raised funds back to donors as much as possible and balance the refunds with private donations so the County Party could continue to raise funds for Republican candidates instead of a fund in the State of NC. In effort to be good stewards of the funding collected from our donors, the Pasquotank Republican 160 Club was created.

WHAT IS THE 160 CLUB

The 160 Club is a fiscal responsible answer to the NC State Board of Elections 2022 audit of the Pasquotank Republican Party.
The current objective of the 160 Club is to receive 100 members willing to donate $160 each to the Pasquotank Republican Party in effort to raise $16,000.
The 160 club is a distinct fundraiser; it is a dedicated group of Republican supporters that agree it is best for the Pasquotank Republican Party to continue raising funds in a fiscally responsible manner that in turn helps Republicans get elected at every level of government in Pasquotank County and North Carolina.

HOW TO JOIN

It’s simple to join the Pasquotank Republican 160 Club! Persons willing to join the club can donate $160 to the Pasquotank Republican Party.
160 Club Members can donate by giving the County Party a check in person or mailing one to:
